How do I get an estimate?
Call or text Kent at (480) 269-1445, or use the contact form. Photos and a short description of the job are usually enough for him to give you a price, and for larger jobs he may want to see the work in person.
How do I book a job?
Call or text (480) 269-1445, or fill out the form on the contact page. Kent will reply with questions or a price and then set a time that works for you.
Do you charge by the hour?
Most jobs are quoted per job rather than by the hour, so you know the price before the work starts. See our pricing page for what affects the price.
What kinds of jobs do you do?
Common jobs include ceiling fan and light fixture installation, faucet and toilet replacement, TV mounting, furniture and equipment assembly, drywall repair, interior and exterior painting, door and hardware repairs, and general home repairs. The lists on this site are not complete, so if you do not see your job, just ask.
What areas do you serve?
Kent serves Gilbert (his home base), Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley and Apache Junction, Arizona. If you are nearby but not on the list, call or text to ask.
What are your hours?
Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Closed Sunday.
Can you come on short notice?
Often, depending on the schedule. Text Kent with what you need and he will let you know his availability.
Do you haul away old fixtures?
Kent has hauled away old toilets and similar items after replacing them. Mention it when you ask for a price so it is included.
Are you a licensed contractor?
No. Kent The Handyman LLC is not a licensed contractor. Kent handles repairs, installations and general handyman work.
